My first thought, actually, was that it was from someone here. Someone who can identify who is going to transform into a monster or not. The second message seems to be saying "Meltryllis and Galo are good, no fish-snake," kind of like it was trying to say neither of you guys were the fish-snake monster?

But we know that Meltryllis was, so that's why it's tripping me up.

Maybe they wrote that message with outdated information, though. Like they had checked to see if Meltryllis was a monster the first week and she wasn't, but didn't update it the second week.

Oh. Huh. Maybe. So it's someone who checked Melt at first and me second?

Mmm. Maybe? I'm not sure how it works. That's why I asked Plum if there was a way for someone to identify who would become a monster before they transformed.

I wish they would've came and talked to me instead.

Well. Maybe we'll find out what they meant this week. They were right about Stefano, at least. Though I think Lio figured that out, too.

Can you picture Lio writing a note like that? Also, I'm pretty sure he'd tell me if he had.

Oh, yeah. We hashed it out, it was a big misunderstanding. Plus, he keeps kissing me a bunch. So I'm pretty sure he'd tell me everything.

Yeah. He is. So I don't think he'd send a note like that. If he knew some people weren't monsters, he'd have done more about it. I could have used something like that, to keep people safe!

Do you know if anyone else deduced that Valentini was our horse killer?

If they did, I didn't hear anything about it.

Neither did I. I know he was on the suspect list for horse murder based on the outdoor footprint, but no one really pursued that once it became clear it was unrelated to Nia's death.
