[It's only been a couple hours, Galo, and he's been in here.]

[He would like to kiss too, but is it a good idea!!! He had glass in his face a few hours ago.]

[This is the part of nursing he is good at. The sexy part. Giving him his hero kisses, for being a hero, but the instant he whines or says "ow," Lio's stopping!!!]

[He'll kiss for a little bit, and then eventually gets too into it and tries to move again and says ow. What a loser.]

[Holding his face so he stays very still and pulling back!!! He's irritated now, partially because kissing seems to be . . . kind of difficult like that, and he'd very much like to kiss him.]

[He is pretty tired and sore, though. He can't deny it, but he just wants to lie here and bask in his gay feelings and hero kisses instead of sleep.]

[Okay, okay, fine, what if he does both. At least the bask in gay feelings and rest part. Maybe the hero kissing needs to wait a few days. Lio is moving to try and prop himself between Galo and the pillows, so he can cradle his head and force him to lay still at least. ]

I almost lost you, and I never want to do that again. So you have to stick close, so I can keep protecting you.

[He's . . . pretty tired himself. It isn't as if he's really slept for days either. Maybe dying counts as a brief rest, but he wasn't even dead that long. Kissing the top of his head.]

I think perhaps it is my turn now.

[He's quiet for a long minute, taking that in. He knows Lio is right, and if he's being fair, if he's treating Lio like an equal, like the badass and incredible person he knows Lio is, he has to let it be Lio's turn now. He laughs a little.]
