[For the past couple days, every time he's spotted Lio, he's darted out of the room like a feral cat. But this morning, he's cornering Lio by jumping out at him to surprise him.]
Lio Fotia!
[Trying to get that out quickly, before he gets punched.]
[Much like a feral cat you've cornered in a room and then leaped out at yelling its name - he just immediately whacks him in the face. With a punch? he punches him in the face.
That's sure happening! Lio noticed Galo attempting to try and get that body back to resuscitate it, and - actually he finds that kind of action remarkable. Galo is at least true to his word as a rescuer, even if he goes about it as wrong-headed as possible. If they end up in the same room at some point, he doesn't leave immediately. Meeting his gaze, silent.]
[Afterwards, he doesn't go looking for Lio, exactly. It's more like he can't possibly avoid running into Lio after everything. He can't really go off without looking towards Lio as he does.]
[Lio doesn't bother to avoid catching Galo's eye as he leaves the scene of the trial. He supposes their "plan" had worked as intended. Though there's no proving it, beyond the fact they're both still alive.
Still, Lio won't wait to talk to him immediately after trial ends. He disappears off into the house before Galo can catch up. Eventually, much later, he can probably run into him where he's likely to be: in front of the fire in the library again.]
[ Lio is . . . Lio is not sure where Lio is going? Anywhere that is quickly away from whatever mess that was. And probably still covered in Asch's blood. He'll be pacing around outside if Galo wants to catch up at any point.]
[So, after they drag themselves back to their room, Galo is suddenly extremely woozy! No sleep and blood loss is apparently a bad combination! Oops! Lio probably feels like shit as well just from how bad Galo feels.]
Dragging his flamethrower with him all the way up there, setting it against the wall for now. He actually nods when Galo expresses an opinion, sighing out deeply. It's been a long night. It's been an excruciatingly long week. He doesn't respond further for now.
[It's . . . not very long before he comes to find Galo. He needs to - the fact that his whole brain is going haywire with anxiety is reason enough, but also, he's worried? He doesn't know what to think is happening. Finding him is easy, he's not exactly quiet while he stomps around the second floor.]
[Galo will actually probably run around a bit after trial - go visit people, spread some warm Galo feelings that probably mess with Lio's drama. But he comes back to the room after, knocking and then sitting by the door.]
[Yeah, honestly, stop being so kind and good hearted? It really messes with a guy who's trying to get a good Depression going.
He's . . . actually in there, for once, so, good job. Opening the door, just looking at him. He wasn't sure if they were going to continue this arrangement or not?]
[He's done a pretty good job of avoiding Galo until now, at least directly, until he was dragged along to the meeting with Peach where he watched Galo gorge himself on pizza. His feelings on that are now unknown to Galo, who is no longer mind melding with him. Eventually going to find him - though he probably doesn't have to look very far. Waiting outside of his room until he wanders by.]
[I mean, Galo can't go in without a key or an invitation, but he does occasionally poke his head out to look around and see if Lio is around. It's hard when you can't tell if someone is avoiding you on purpose, or they just need space.
But he grins when he sees Lio is waiting for him.]
[Lio is a little bit hard to find for the early part of the night! Or. "Early." Late, but, just after trial. He had to do some rounds. But he's not taking too long. He wants to find Galo again fairly quickly - heading back for his room, hoping to find him outside.]
[Lio. He's coming to find you - maybe an hour after the trial. He's brought with him a handful of snacks? They're pizza rolls. This isn't a date, Galo.]
[His back is to him, though he can probably tell his arms are wrapped tightly across himself. When Galo enters the room, he turns, just enough to look over his shoulder.]
[Lio has been moving almost robotically for the past few hours - as if in a total dream state. There hasn't really been a second to process what's happened, or what he even feels right now, apart from just pure adrenaline and relief that Galo is alive alive alive. He's followed Luna's instructions to help him as much as he can, gotten him back to Lio's room somehow and Lio has spent probably the last friggin' hour refusing to sit down and is instead just piling pillows and blankets around Galo to try and get him more comfortable - he hasn't really said anything either? He doesn't know what to say.]
[Well, he's out cold still - but it's more that he didn't get much sleep last night, and his body is protesting being awake. He's probably woken up in a groggy way a couple times - when Luna was tending to him, when Lio moves him in a way that jostles him - so it's clear this is just a nap and not a coma. After a while, though, he'll wake up for real, his face breaking into a smile when he sees Lio there.]
[So, mixing it up with the Movie Theater. The Library was just . . . a little too traumatizing. Lio, this time, is checking all the corners of the room to make sure there's no surprises.]
[God. What a long fucking day. What a long weekend? Lio actually seems . . . alright. It feels better to have a plan, an idea that they're going to try. Letting Galo into the room, actually shooting him a bit of a grin.]
[Yeah, Lio feels the same. He's very defensive of Galo right now, because he feels very strongly about all the things he said. Galo is the one person here he trusts the most, above anyone.]
